The Channel Communications Manager is essential in supporting the retail and licensed venue networks through the optimisation and execution of effective communications aligned to a defined communication strategy.
With a channel-oriented focus, you will determine and drive strategic future direction, optimising the end-to-end delivery of communication platforms and tools to effectively meet the needs of a transforming retail business.
What you’ll do
- Develop and deliver communications to the retail and licensed venue networks nationally.
- Drive the development of a communication strategy that is customised according to audience and engages a range of stakeholders.
- Support the Marketing team through communication of national campaigns, promotions and product launches across the retail and licensed venue networks.
- Develop effective and compelling messaging to the networks via a variety of communications formats, utilising all available communication channels and methods.
- Support the Channel Process Development team to ensure end to end communications and systems are aligned and embedded from the onboarding of new retailers and venue partners to the ongoing development of the existing networks.
- Partner and actively collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to optimise the performance of the retail and licensed venue networks.
- Manage and maintain the communication platforms ensuring that content is accurate and reflects current retail and venue operations.
- Participate in or manage business related projects as directed.
What you’ll bring
- A business or communications degree (desirable but not required).
- Experience in, or an understanding of retail management together with a knowledge of small business and the dynamics of the retail environment.
- Understanding of business systems and processes.
- A strong and demonstrated ability to succeed in a changing environment including the knowledge and ability to develop, articulate and communicate positive and inspiring visions.
- Business improvement methodologies that will enable you to identify, develop and implement training and communication processes that will enhance performance.
- An understanding of customers’ needs (internal & external) that will enable you to effectively keep key stakeholders informed whilst using effective communication strategies to build strong relationships.
